“ Highly recommended Chengdu Chinese style is so good. Went there w/my family, & we are going back there w/my whole gang tonight for dinner service is awesome. ”
“ Always a great experience at this little hole in the wall business you'll find some of the most delicious food. We frequent here often. I had to highlight the Lunar New Year Menu It was all so delicious and is running until items sell out. We just visited on 1/29 and they planned to run through the weekend. Here's a look at the menu items offered and some of their regular menu items as well. Service is fast and efficient. ”
“ OK, where do I even start, this place is truly authentic. Sichuan style at its finest. From the sour numbing soup to the spicy beef with jalapeño. This place has it all and they even have American Chinese dishes for my kids although I make my kids eat everything. Their fried donuts were probably the best ones I've had. They are open late every night I believe midnight or later that alone is worth the five stars. ”
“ Food was very fresh and authentic. I highly recommend the stir fried spicy pork belly and the shrimp fried rice were so delicious! Service was good, quiet and easy going staff. I had a sense of simple yet humble ambiance here. No frills but who cares because the food is fire. ”
“ Real mainland China menu! Don't expect westernized Americanized cuisine. Authentic dining for Asians and the adventurous only. Late night hours and not fancy.... It's the real deal. ”
“ The menu is insane! Seriously, check it out! This place is not your average buffet style, fast food Chinese restaurant. We wanted something "real", that would leave us regretting our decision and experiencing indigestion. The wait staff was very helpful and there is literally someone watching the tables to anticipate any need. The dining area is quaint and clean. The building is centrally located in the Asian district in Mesa - Dobson & Broadway. ”
“ Did you know that "wonton" is Cantonese for "swallowing clouds?" Maybe that's why I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm devouring wontons at an alarming speed. Updating my review because after a few more visits, I have more to discuss! As stated before, I've had the Crispy Chicken with Crispy Peppers, Ma Po Tofu, Pork Fried Rice, Yang Zhou Fried Rice, Smoked Duck, Shredded Potato, Sautéed Pork with Soy Bean Paste and Buns, Fried A Choy, and Tianjing Pancake. Add Spicy Wontons and House Special Grilled Fish (deceptive name as it sits in a flavorful aromatic broth), Braised Pork Belly with Salted Greens, and Stir-fried Green Beans to the list now. Everything I've had so far has been amazing and truly authentic. It's a great experience every time I've popped in and the flavors never miss. Adding that final star because wowzahs! I love me some Original Cuisine! ”
“ I've been eyeing this spot for so long now. Luckily, I was finally able to try it with my friends. We ordered the food to go, and the ordering process to picking it up was very simple and quick. We ordered the shredded pork in special sauce, fried rice, eggplant, cabbage, and the spicy chicken. I think out of all of these options, I'd pass on the fried rice next time (or maybe choose one that added protein). Still, it was very delicious, and offered a middle ground for everyone in case the food was too spicy. They are Szechuan cuisine, so their foods do have a kick to them. I don't like really spicy foods, and at least the dishes we got, I didn't think they were too spicy. Some had more of a kick than others (I think the eggplant did?), but it was all tolerable overall. I'd say a hot cheeto is spicier than the food, but it's still a noticeable presence as it builds over time. I would order the spicy chicken and eggplant again for sure, and would come back to try the mapo next time. I think for the quality, efficiency, price, and how late the restaurant is open, this place gets an A+ in my books! ”
“ I honestly don't know why we don't come to Original Cuisine more often. Their food is delicious and the staff members are so friendly. They always make you feel welcome! We always have the spicy crispy chicken with chili. We opt for mild because wow it's spicy, they aren't kidding with their heat levels. It has an insane amount of chopped peppers in it, it's a bit excessive since it's hard to eat around them. We had their chicken fried rice which is flavorful with the right amount of saltiness. This time around we also had their buns with sweetened condensed milk and omg delicious. It was the perfect ending to our meal! ”
“ I joined my sister for dinner at this place and we had a good time. Quickly upon walking in, we were greeted and seated. The menus were dropped off and the friendly worker brought us some cold water. We ordered: One order of spicy dumplings One order of garlic green beans One order of the spicy crispy chicken Two white rice's One soda The food came out not too long after and we began to eat. The green beans were our favorite as they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The spicy dumplings were also pretty good, not at all spicy, and they were pretty stuffed. The crispy chicken was hot, crispy, and had a nice kick to them. Service was great as we were checked up on several times. Overall, I will come back! ”
